Thieves

Young Living's proprietary blend of highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-infectious essential oils.  This powerful blend contains: Clove -  one of the most anti-microbial and antiseptic of all essential oils; Lemon - has antiseptic -like properties and contains compounds that amplify immunity; Cinnamon Bark - one of the most powerful antiseptics known.  It is also highly antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal; Eucalyptus -  with anti-infectious, antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties; and Rosemary - also antiseptic and anti-microbial.

Purification

Cleanses and disinfects the air and neutralizes mildew, cigarette smoke, and disagreeable odors.  Also can be used to disinfect and cleanse cuts, scrapes, and bites from spiders, bees, hornets, and wasps.

Purification is a blend of Citronella - with antiseptic, antibacterial, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and insecticidal properties in addition to being insect-repelling; Lemongrass - has strong anti-fungal properties and tends to be purifying and antibacterial; Lavandin - is anti-fungal, antibacterial, a strong antiseptic, and a tissue re-generator; Rosemary - which is antiseptic, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial and may be beneficial for skin conditions and dandruff.  Rosemary also helps fight candida and in anti-infectious; Melaleuca - also known as tea tree, is antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory; and Myrtle - which is antibacterial and may support immune function in fighting colds, flu, and other infectious disease.

PanAway

Reduces pain and inflammation, increases circulation, and accelerates healing.  Relieves swelling and discomfort from arthritis, sprains, muscle spasms and cramps, bumps, and bruises.

PanAway is a unique blend of Helichrysum - a powerful ant-aesthetic and analgesic which quenches pain and inflammation and reduces muscle spasms;  Wintergreen - a strong anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic essential oil which is also analgesic and reduces all types of pain; Clove - used in the dental industry to numb gums and kill pain, it is one of the most antimicrobial and antiseptic of all essential oils; and Peppermint - which has powerful pain-blocking, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic properties.  A 1994 double-blind study at the University of Kiel in Germany found that peppermint oil had a significant analgesic effect. (Gobel et al., 1994).

Valor

Nick-named a "Chiropractor in a bottle", it helps the body self-correct is balance and alignment and balances energies to instill courage, confidence, and self-esteem.

Valor is a blend of Rosewood - which is very grounding and strengthening; Blue Tansy - which helps cleanse the liver and lymphatic system helping one to overcome anger and negative emotions promoting a feeling of self-control; Frankincense -  is considered a holy anointing oil inthe Middle East and has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years.  It stimulates the limbic part  of the brain, elevating the mind and helping to overcome stress and despair.  Frankincense is used in European medicine to combat depression; and Spruce -  which opens and releases emotional blocks, fostering a sense of balance and grounding.

Peace & Calming

Promotes relaxation and a deep sense of peace and emotional well-being, helping to dampen tensions and uplift spirits.  When massaged on the bottom of the feet, it can be a wonderful prelude to a peaceful night's rest.  It may calm overactive and hard-to-manage children.  Reduces depression, anxiety, stress, and insomnia.

This special blend combines the essential oils of Blue Tansy - to combat anger and negative emotions; Patchouli - which is strongly grounding and centering; Tangerine - contains esters and aldehydes that are sedating and calming, helping with anxiety and nervousness; Orange - which is elevating to the mind and body and brings joy and peace; and Ylang Ylang - increases relaxation, balances male and female energies.  It also restores confidence and equilibrium. 

Lavender

Calming, relaxing, and balancing, both physically and emotionally.  University of Miami researchers found that inhalation of lavender oil increased beta waves in the brain, suggesting heightened relaxation.  It also reduced depression and improved cognitive performance (Diego et al., 1998)

French scientist Rene Gattefose was the first to discover lavender's ability to promote tissue regeneration and speed wound healing when he severely burned his arm in a laboratory accident.  Today, lavender is one of the few essential oils to still be listed in the British Pharmcopoeia.

Frankincense

"Used to treat every conceivable ill known to man," frankincense was valued more than gold during ancient times, and only those with gret wealth and abundance possessed it.

Modern science reveals that it is high in sesquiterpenes which stimulate the limbic system in the brain (the center of memory and emotions) and the hypothalmus, pineal, and pituitary glands.

It's properties are anti-tumoral, immuno-stimulatant, antidepressant, and muscle relaxing.  Frankincense increases spiritual awareness, promotes meditation, improves attitude and uplifts spirits. 

Lemon

Research by Jean Valnet, M.D., showed that vaporized lemon oil can kill meningococcus bacteria in 15 minutes, typhoid bacilli in one hour, Staphylococcus aureus in two hours, and Pneumococcus bacteria within three hours.  Even a 0.2% solution of lemon oils can kill diphtheria bacteria in 20 minutes and inactivate tuberculosis bacteria. 

Lemon oil has been widely used in skin care to cleanse skin and reduce wrinkles and combat acne.

Lemon has shown to have antidepressant effects in research done by Komori, et al., 1995.

It promotes clarity of thought and purpose with a fragrance that is invigorating, enhancing, and warming.

Peppermint

Highly regarded as a digestive stimulant, University of Kiel researchers also found that peppermint blocked headache pain in a double-blind placebo controlled cross-over study. 

It is purifying and stimulating to the conscious mind.  Dr. William N. Dember of the University of Cincinnati found that inhaling peppermint oil increased mental accuracy by 28%.

Jean Valnet, M.D., used peppermint to treat liver and respiratory diseases.
